Diablo III Edit. Weaken does return in Diablo III, to a certain extent. However, it is renamed to Curse of Weakness, and it is exclusive to the Enslaved Nightmares. Upon suffering this curse, the victim suffers a 25% penalty to all damage dealt. Decrepify fulfills a similar role in Diablo III. Free canon 2900 lbp printer.

- While it isn't displayed on the Character Screen either, this Resistance reduces Physical damage just like the Elemental Resistances lower or increase Elemental damage. On items it is displayed as 'Damage Taken Reduced by x%', and Amplify Damage lowers this by 100%, Decrepify by 50%. It is then lower capped at -100% and upper capped at 50%.
- Amplify lowers physical resistance by 100%. Decrepify lowers physical resistance, damage and speed by 50%. I use decrep for most Act bosses and when I'm noticing some especially nasty boss pack is picking my skeletons apart (extra strong fanaticism comes to mind).
- Sep 25, 2011 Stupid physical immune can't be broken with Decrepify or Amplify Damage. Diablo 2 - Necromancer Summoner vs. Uber Tristam (Gameplay) - Duration: 24:02.
Description
Decrepify is a devastating curse. It combines Weaken and Amplify Damage and adds speed reduction to the target on top of that. This speed reduction stacks with slowing effects from cold damage and from the Clay Golem, giving the Necromancer the ability to slow down enemies better than any other class in the game with this skill. Decrepify is often used for bosses, as it hampers their ability to kill both the player and his minions greatly.
Lore
This curse gives the victim a glimpse of his own mortality, briefly aging the victim. Imagining itself with an infirm body of advanced age, the afflicted believes it is no longer capable of youthful exertions.[1]
